Individual Parameters – Your Requirements, Our Execution!

We want your saber to perfectly meet your needs. That’s why we give you the opportunity to specify your preferred parameters when placing your order. If you have specific requests regarding weight, blade length, balance point, or other details, please indicate them.

After receiving your guidelines, our team will carefully analyze the possibilities of fulfilling them and will contact you to confirm whether we can meet your expectations.

Remember that each of our sabers is a handcrafted work. The process of making and finishing is done manually, which gives each piece a unique character. Therefore, the final parameters of the completed saber may slightly differ from those ordered. This is a natural feature of hand production and attests to the authenticity of your weapon. However, we assure you that we will make every effort to ensure the sword matches your original specifications as closely as possible.

Early Medieval Saber (11th Century) – Dynamic Eastern Weapon for Reenactors!

Transport yourself to the tumultuous times of the early Middle Ages, on the border of Eastern and Western influences, with our faithful reconstruction of an early medieval saber, inspired by a find from Russia. This dynamic weapon, dated to the 11th century, has been created for history enthusiasts and reenactors seeking authentic and functional arms for training, demonstrations, and safe duels.

Authenticity and Effectiveness in One:

Our saber stands out with solid craftsmanship and attention to detail, in line with historical models. Its characteristic, curved blade is perfectly adapted for delivering quick and powerful cuts, making it an extremely effective weapon for both cavalry and infantry. Key elements of the hilt include:

  • Downward Curved Guard: This specific shape of the guard not only provides a more secure grip but also offers additional protection for the user's hand by directing potential strikes along the blade.

  • Beveled Pommel: The unique, asymmetrical pommel, cut at an angle, serves as an effective counterbalance to the curved blade, improving the sword's balance and facilitating maneuverability in combat.

This design was typical for sabers used in Eastern Europe and on Kievan Rus in the 11th century, and its effectiveness in close combat is undeniable.

Origin and Finds:

Early medieval sabers, such as those from Goczewo, bear witness to the nomadic and Eastern influences on European weaponry. Goczewo is one of the most important archaeological sites in present-day Russia, where numerous artifacts, including weapons, dating back to the early Middle Ages have been discovered. These finds confirm the presence and significance of the saber as a weapon for East Slavic warriors and their neighbors. Sabers from this period are evidence of the development of a different strategy for combat, based on speed and cutting power.

Ideal for Reenactments and Duels:

This saber has been designed with durability and safety in mind, making it an excellent choice for reenactors wishing to recreate battles from the early Middle Ages. Its design makes it suitable for controlled duels, providing both authentic experiences and the required durability. With it, your historical recreations will gain even greater realism.

Exceptional Quality of Materials – Guarantee of Durability and Safety!

At the heart of each of our swords lies carefully selected steel and a precise hardening process, which together ensure unparalleled quality and user safety. Our swords are made from high-quality 50HF steel, which is valued in the industry for its excellent mechanical properties.

Each blade is precisely hardened to an optimal hardness of 48 HRC (on the Rockwell scale). This is the result of years of experience and testing. Over the years, we have experimented with various combinations of steel and hardness, seeking the ideal balance. We believe that the combination of 50HF steel with a hardness of 48 HRC is the golden mean, which makes our swords exceptionally functional:

  • Flexibility and Resistance to Deformation: Thanks to this combination, the sword is appropriately flexible, allowing it to absorb impacts and vibrations during combat. Most importantly, despite this flexibility, it does not suffer permanent deformation, returning to its original shape.

  • Optimal Hardness without Brittleness: The blade is hard enough to maintain its edge and withstand intense use, yet it is not brittle. This minimizes the risk of the sword breaking during dynamic duels, which is crucial for your safety.
