Individual Sword Parameters – Your Requirements, Our Execution!
We want your sword to perfectly meet your needs. That’s why we give you the opportunity to specify your preferred parameters when placing an order. If you have specific requests regarding weight, blade length, balance point, or other details, please indicate them.
After receiving your guidelines, our team will thoroughly analyze the possibilities of fulfilling them and will contact you to confirm whether we can meet your expectations.
Remember that each of our swords is a craftsman's work. The process of making and final finishing is done manually, which gives each piece a unique character. Therefore, the final parameters of the finished sword may differ slightly from those ordered. This is a natural feature of handmade production and attests to the authenticity of your weapon. However, we assure you that we will make every effort to ensure that the sword closely matches your original specifications.
Variant with a Large, Heavier Head: This option is characterized by a more massive head, which results in a slightly greater overall weight of the sword. However, thanks to the proper distribution of weight, this variant provides exceptional balance, making it extremely dynamic and precise in use. Ideal for those who value realistic sensations and excellent control during fencing.
Two Variants for Optimal Matching:
We understand that the preferences and needs of reconstructors are diverse. That's why we offer this sword model in two variants, so that everyone can find the perfect tool for their activities:

This variant is easier to maneuver and less taxing, which can be crucial during long training sessions or performances. An excellent choice for those seeking agility and less fatigue.
Early Medieval Type X Sword with Peterson Type X Pommel – Ideal for Reenactors and Duels!
Transport yourself back to the times of Vikings and knights with our faithful replica of an early medieval type X sword featuring a characteristic large pommel classified as Peterson Type X. This exceptional weapon, dated to the 11th century, has been created for history enthusiasts and reenactors who seek an authentic and functional weapon for training, demonstrations, and safe duels.
Authenticity and Functionality in One:
Our sword stands out for its solid craftsmanship and attention to detail, in accordance with historical patterns. The long, straight blade of the type X sword, combined with a broad cross-guard and a massive, rounded pommel shaped like a mushroom of type X, provides excellent balance and control. This design was typical of swords used from the 10th to the 12th century, and its effectiveness in close combat is undeniable. The type X pommel (according to Petersen's typology) is characteristic of swords from the 11th century and in many cases was made from a single piece of metal, often forged from iron or steel.
Origin and Finds:
Swords with type X pommels (Peterson), often associated with type X blades (Oakeshott), are among the most commonly found in areas dominated by Viking and early medieval culture, indicating their widespread use and effectiveness. Examples of such swords have been discovered throughout Scandinavia, England, Ireland, Germany, and also in Eastern Europe, including Poland (e.g., numerous finds from the Mazovia and Greater Poland regions) and Kievan Rus. Many of them were found in grave contexts, often as equipment for warriors and elites, underscoring their significance in the material and military culture of the time. They are a testament to an era when the art of blacksmithing and sword-making reached a high level of sophistication.
Perfect for Reenactments and Duels:
This sword has been designed with durability and safety in mind, making it an excellent choice for reenactors wishing to recreate battles from the early Middle Ages. Its construction makes it suitable for controlled duels, providing both authentic experiences and the required durability. With it, your historical recreations will gain even greater realism.
Exceptional Material Quality – A Guarantee of Durability and Safety!
At the heart of each of our swords lies carefully selected steel and a precise hardening process, which together ensure unparalleled quality and safety of use. Our swords are made from high-quality 50HF steel, which is valued in the industry for its excellent mechanical properties.
Each blade is precisely hardened to an optimal hardness of 48 HRC (on the Rockwell scale). This is the result of years of experience and testing. Over the years, we have experimented with various combinations of steel and hardness, seeking the ideal balance. We believe that the combination of 50HF steel with a hardness of 48 HRC is the golden mean, making our swords exceptionally functional:
Flexibility and Resistance to Deformation: Thanks to this combination, the sword is appropriately flexible, allowing it to absorb impacts and vibrations during combat. Most importantly, despite this flexibility, it does not suffer permanent deformations, returning to its original shape.
Optimal Hardness without Brittleness: The blade is hard enough to maintain its edge and withstand intense use, but it is not brittle. This minimizes the risk of the sword breaking during dynamic duels, which is crucial for your safety.
